MiniFFC is short for Mini Form Function & Class. It is the smaller, more informal version of Form Function & Class, our annual web design conference where hobbyist & professional web designers can gather, share experiences, and mingle with fellow colleagues.

The event is open to everyone, students & professionals alike.

Topics and Speakers

Track 1 - Creating a Website using Webcomponents with TJ Monserrat

In this track, we will build a simple website with using only web components and webpack. We will start understanding what a web component is and how to build it. We will then create one using a helper library called Element-lite and then use a ready-made boilerplate structure that would get developers started with building a website.


He is a researcher who focuses on Human-Computer Interaction field, working on research in Pedagogy and Technology in Interactive Platforms on Learning. He volunteers his time and expertise to various organizations such as Google Developer Group Philippines, User Experience Philippines, Philippine Web Designers Organization, and ACM Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction. He is currently awarded as a Google Developer Expert on the Web. His love for performance as part of design makes him love his mission to help others do performant-ready webapps and bake into them performance-ready patterns into their design toolset.


Track 2 - Web Design Fundamentals with Drei Alquiros

In this track, you will learn how to properly convert a design to a website.

  • Basic: plotting styles using wireframing tools on a design

  • Advanced: coding styles on to an HTML editor


She’s had over 8 years experience in Web Development and Design. She currently works for 2 US-based companies as Virtual Web Developer & Designer and Remote WordPress Tech Support. She also teaches basic Website Development and Design to Senior High School students in Quezon Province.


Track 3 - Acing that Interview with Richard Parayno

In this track, participants will learn how to optimize their resumes and how to succeed in their job/internship interviews.


He is the co-founder and Director for Operations of the User Experience Society - DLSU Chapter. He’s an active participant in community events, hackathons and pitching competitions, where he learned how to do full-stack web development, UX design, and entrepreneurship. His main interests are design, social entrepreneurship, education, and learning experience design.
